How to Use:
- Siting – Place the butterfly house in a sunny, sheltered location, away from strong winds. Positioning it near flowering plants will help attract butterflies and bees.
- Feeding Instructions – Fill the nectar spoon with Wildlife World Butterfly Food or a homemade sugar water solution, particularly in early spring and late summer when nectar is scarce. Place overripe fruit in the central feeding tray—bananas and oranges work best. Clean the nectar spoon and tray regularly to prevent bacteria build-up.
- Maintenance – This durable wooden house requires little upkeep. Clean periodically and reapply a clear protective coat if desired.
- Observation – Expect to see a variety of garden visitors throughout the year. In summer, butterflies, bees, and hoverflies will feed, while in winter, the house becomes a safe retreat for hibernating insects.
