What kind of steel do you use? Will this bottle keep my drinks cold?
We only use 304 grade (also known as 18/8): This is highest grade for food use. It is formulated to make it highly resistant to corrosion and easy to sanitize. This bottle will NOT retain temperature and should not be used for very hot drinks.
Can you give me tips on using my ION8 OneTouch bottle?
When drinking, you only need to tilt a little, as the spout is positioned to flow perfectly with a minimal tilt. Even a leak-proof bottle can leak if seals are lost or removed. Always check all seals are in place. Spares are readily available.
How much water do I need to be well hydrated?
The EU recommends 2 to 2.5 liters of fluids daily for adults, including water from food. Aim for 6-8 glasses of water or other beverages. Individual needs vary based on factors like size, age, activity level, climate, and health status.
How do I clean my ION8?
Before use always rinse the water bottle and cap with cool water. After use always rinse in warm water and dish soap only. You can use the dishwasher in the top rack or on a cool wash. Air dry thoroughly before storing and always store with cap off.
How do I care for my ION8 bottle?
Do not use brushes or abrasives to scrub, do not freeze when full, do not boil or microwave, do not use for carbonated drinks, do not use in a dishwasher on a very hot wash. Always ensure your leak-proof seals are in place.
