    Yes. The hardwire kit is required for 24/7 parking monitoring. It is sold separately (ASIN: B0DHJNRPB9).

  • Can I connect to the dashcam’s Wi-Fi when I’m away from the car?

    No. Like all dashcam Wi-Fi systems on the market, it has a limited range (about 5–7 meters). You’ll need to be close to the car to connect.

  • Do I need to keep the dashcam’s Wi-Fi connected for it to record?

    No. The Q7 dashcam starts recording automatically when you start your engine. We recommend connecting the dashcam’s Wi-Fi and app only when you want to view the recorded videos on your phone.
