For those who like it particularly bright or need to illuminate larger areas, the powerful XLED home 2 XL S outdoor sensor spotlight is the first choice. Highly efficient LEDs provide perfect illumination of driveways, courtyards, and gardens with 2124 lm. And that with only 19.3 W energy consumption. The fully swiveling LED panel ensures maximum flexibility. In combination with the opal lens, the 3000 K spotlight provides optimal lighting conditions around the house.

Technology that impresses

1. Infrared pyrosensor

   The heart of the motion detector

   
   

   This electronic module reacts when the infrared heat radiation within its detection range changes, i.e. when a person enters the detection range. The resulting voltage surge is converted by the system into an electronic pulse that switches the light.

   

2. Heat radiation

   Humans emit infrared radiation due to their body heat. This radiation is used by infrared sensor technology to detect movement and respond accordingly.

   

3. Range

   Tangential and radial

   
   

   The range of infrared sensors depends on the direction of movement. With the XLED home 2 XL S, the range is max. 10 m for tangential movement (parallel to the sensor), which is reduced for radial movement (towards the sensor).

   In addition, the detection range can be restricted using the supplied cover plates.

   

4. Fresnel lenses

   Fresnel lenses consist of many individual lenses arranged side by side in a circular segment. The maximum detection angle is 180°.

   

5. Plastic-free packaging

   Sustainable and resource-efficient

   
   

   All accessories are now packaged in bags made from 100% recycled paper instead of conventional plastic bags. We are replacing the polystyrene previously used to secure goods with custom-fit molded fiber parts that offer the same level of protection. The extensive operating instructions are being replaced by clear quick starts, which require only 12.5% of the amount of paper previously used.
