Setup with smartphone:

  • Step 1. Plug in, wait about 60s, connect to WiFi "WONLINK-XXXXX-2G" or "WONLINK-XXXXX-5G"(the default WONLINK WiFi just use to configuration, no internet).
  • Step 2. When the extender is setup for the first time, the configuration webpage will pops up automatically. If not, launch a web browser on your phone and enter "192.168.10.1" in the address field , enter the password "admin", Click "SET PASSWORD" to access into the configuration page.
  • Step 3. Scan and select your host WiFi SSID. Enter your WiFi password (The password must be same as your router password), click "Save Setting".
  • Step 4. After the setup is complete, it will reboot automatically. Then go to your WiFi list, reconnect WiFi "XXX-2G" or "XXX-5G" (your new extender WiFi), the password is your original WiFi password, and enjoy the WiFi.

Note:

  • To avoid much obstacles and interference, we recommend that you set this wifi extender within a strong and stable router signal spot. (about 15ft from your router would be great, because too close would be with much interference while too far would be in weak signal spot)
  • Recommended set way：In a good wifi signal environment, extend "router's 5G band" and connect "extender's 2.4G band" with your devices which will maximize the extender's performance. Since 2.4G band has a better performance on through the obstacles and walls.
