WHY?

• TCCA tablet are the most popular method of sanitizing spa water. Your Spa needs to be sanitized at all times. Never use your spa without first testing your spa water. The ideal Chlorine level is between 3 parts per million (ppm) & 5ppm.

WHEN?

• Test the chlorine levels in your spa daily and immediately before use. Check your floating dispenser at least every 3 days and replenish before tablets have been fully dissolved. Typically, these tablets will erode and dissolve over 10 to 14 days depending on water temperature and water flow.

HOW?

• Always use in a floating dispenser or in-line feeder. Never place tablets directly into the pool, as severe bleaching or staining may occur.
• Wearing gloves, fill your floating dispenser with the required amount of Chlorine Tablets.
• Open the flow regulator on your dispenser to maximum and allow the chlorine level to rise in between 3 and 5ppm. Test your spa water daily and adjust the dispenser regulator according to your test readings.
• Remove floating dispenser when the spa is in use and place safely in a bucket.

HOW MUCH?

• The quantity of Chlorine Tablets required to maintain your hot tub water in a safe, healthy condition will depend upon many factors, however, as a general guide, usage is as follows:

Water Volume & Qty Required

• 7000 Gallon – 2 Tablets
• 14000 Gallon – 4 Tablets
• 21000 Gallon – 6 Tablets

Directions

1. Maintain pH level within the ideal range of 7.2 – 7.6. If outside this range, use PH plus or PH minus products to adjust. 2. Maintain free chlorine residuals for hot tubs between 3-5mg/l and for swimming pools between 1 – 3mg/l (ppm). Freshly filled hot tubs require an initial shock or start up dose of chlorine: 50mg/l (ppm) for 1 hour or 20mg/l (ppm) for 2 hours. 3. Use the tablets in floating dispensers, chemical feeds, and skimmer baskets. 4. Apply regularly to achieve the recommended free chlorine level.
