The Rode Wireless Micro is a versatile and easy-to-use wireless microphone system designed specifically to capture high-quality audio content with USB-C compatible smartphones. The system includes two easy-to-use wireless microphones that can be clipped to clothing or discreetly attached thanks to the enclosed magnetic attachment. The microphones themselves are equipped with an integrated windshield that effectively reduces annoying wind noise and ensures clear voice recording – ideal for outdoor recording or in noisy environments. In addition, the GainAssist automatic level ensures that the volume is optimally regulated, so that even when the volume fluctuates a consistent, crystal-clear audio quality is achieved.

At the heart of the system is the receiver module, which has a USB-C port and connects directly to Android or iOS devices. The modules automatically pair with each other, which makes it easier to get started with recording and simplifies technical handling – no complicated settings or additional connections are necessary. With a stable wireless connection that allows a range of up to 100 meters, the Rode Wireless Micro offers the flexibility and reliability necessary to ensure excellent audio quality even at longer distances between the microphone and the receiver module.

The powerful battery allows a recording time of up to 7 hours per charge and can be extended to up to 21 hours with the included charging case. The charging time is about 3 hours, so the system is ready to use again after a short charge phase. The Rode Wireless Micro is compatible with Android 11, iOS 14 and later versions, ensuring wide device coverage.

With the firmware update from May 2025, it is now possible to connect the Wireless Micro with the Rode Capture app directly to an iOS device via Bluetooth. A physical receiver module is no longer needed – scan for your wireless micro transmitter module in the Rode Capture app and pair it directly with your iOS device. The app offers the possibility to activate the new noise reduction feature, monitor the volume levels of the wireless micro in real time and record individual or merged tracks.

In addition to the two wireless microphones, the set includes additional practical accessories: two miniature fur windbreakers to further improve sound quality in windy conditions, two magnetic attachments for the transmitter modules and a USB-C to USB-C cable for charging the charging case. With these comprehensive features and included accessories, the Rode Wireless Micro is an ideal complete package for anyone who wants to achieve professional sound quality in the easiest way.
