The SmallRig Osmo Action 6 Extension Frame (5888) is a fully enclosed extension frame designed specifically for DJI Osmo Action 6. It offers unobstructed access to buttons and ports, providing comprehensive protection for the main unit from impacts while offering multiple expansion interfaces for easy connection of various accessories, resulting in more efficient shooting.
The extension frame includes one cold shoe mount for mounting cold shoe accessories to meet lighting or audio recording needs, suitable for DJI Mic 2 and Smallrig 5446 LED flash. A magnetic quick-release interface is provided on the side of the frame for DJI original bidirectional quick-release adapters. The bottom features a cutout design, allowing direct access to the main unit’s magnetic quick-release interface, and can be used with our bidirectional quick-release mounts 5890, 5779, and 5991 for quick switching between portrait and landscape shooting. The battery compartment can be opened directly on the side for battery replacement without disassembling the frame.
A safety lanyard hole is provided on one side of the frame for use with the included lanyard to prevent the device from falling during handheld shooting.
