The Yamaha FZR750R was a road legal version of the dominant YZF750 racing motorcycle. It was equipped with a four-stroke DOHC four-cylinder engine with five valves per cylinder, titanium connecting rods and enlarged exhaust channels. In addition, it featured an aluminum deltabox frame and racing specification chassis. High-quality FRP fairings perfectly matched the first-class performance of the FZR750R, and the 1,000 copies produced were quickly bought by motorcycle lovers.
