Functional Principle of WLAN Sensors

  • The main unit is installed within a stable 2.4 GHz WLAN environment.
  • Connect to the main unit via a mobile application to remotely view data.
  • External sensors communicate with the main unit via radio frequency signals.
  • RF-433 MHz signal transmission is stable, supporting a maximum connection distance of 150 metres (in open areas).

Note:

Data Calibration

You may calibrate temperature and humidity on the app's settings page. Select calibration values, tap Confirm, and calibration will be completed.

Temperature and Humidity Alerts

You may preset temperature and humidity ranges on the alerts page. Should actual readings exceed these parameters, the system will immediately dispatch alert notifications.

Third-Party Voice Control

You may query temperature and humidity via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant smart speakers.

IP65 Waterproof

The external sensor is rainproof and water-resistant.

However, it is not suitable for prolonged immersion in water.

Device sharing

Smart Life and the Tuya Smart apps support device sharing, enabling family members to view ambient temperatures together.

Extra-long battery life

The external sensor is powered by two AAA alkaline batteries and, when used correctly, offers an operating time of up to 12 months.
