Svbony SV238 Off-Axis Guider(OAG) delivers precise,reliable astrophotography performance. Direct connection to deep-sky cameras with M2.5 holes (noticed back focus). You can also connect to filter drawers (SV226 M54&SV226P);Compatible with ZWO/ToupTek New motorized filter wheel(with screw holes).
How to determine if it can be used with filter wheels and filter drawers from others?
1. Check if the screw holes match (M2.5/M3)
2. Compare whether the distance from the screw hole to the center matches (31mm).
3. Does the thickness meet the back intercept requirement?
Dual Helical for Precision Focusing
Equipped with a dual helical focuser, it offers precision focusing, flexible configurations, and stable guiding adjustments—ensuring sharp, reliable shots every time.
Adjustable Prism Height
SV238 with Guide camera compatibility: compatible with barrel-style guide cameras—where CMOS sensor is housed within the barrel section and positioned adjacent to OAG’s prism(adjustable prism height);and is not supported for guide cameras in which CMOS sensor is located at the base of body.
SV238 connects to cooled cameras with 2 methods:1.Direct connection to M2.5-hole cameras with self-provided extension tube/T-Ringis required to achieve 55mm back focus 2.Connection via filter drawers/filter wheels(with holes); confirm compatibility by hole parameters in SV238 mechanical drawings.
