The Shield Autocare Roof Bar System is a heavy-duty, vehicle-specific solution designed for Ford Transit Custom vans from 2013 to 2023. Compatible with both L1 (SWB) and L2 (LWB) low roof models, this system offers a secure and professional way to transport ladders, timber, and other long loads without drilling or permanent vehicle modification.


Manufactured from thick steel with a corrosion-resistant powder-coated finish, the roof bars are built for demanding commercial and trade use. The reduced-drag bar profile helps minimise wind resistance while maintaining excellent strength and stability on the road.


Each bar is fitted with integrated side load stops featuring tie-down holes, allowing loads to be safely secured during transit. Vehicle-specific mounting brackets ensure a precise fit using the van’s factory mounting points, while supplied rubber pads help protect your van’s paintwork.


Available in multiple configurations, including 2-bar or 3-bar setups with or without a steel rear roller, this system can be tailored to your working needs. Rear roller versions make loading and unloading long or heavy items easier and help reduce strain and vehicle wear.


All fixtures and fittings are included for straightforward installation. Each bar supports up to 85kg, subject to the vehicle manufacturer’s maximum roof load capacity. Suitable for standard low roof Ford Transit Custom vans with barn-style rear doors only.
