SmallRig “HawkLock” Quick Release Cage Kit for Canon R6 Mark III / R6 Mark II (Advanced Edition) 5958 is expertly crafted to improve handheld shooting experience while offering comprehensive camera protection and versatile mounting options. The kit includes a cage, a cable clamp for HDMI & USB-C, a “HawkLock” top handle, and a “HawkLock” side handle.

The kit has incorporated HawkLock quick release interfaces for swift and secure mounting. It features the H21 quick release NATO rail, H38 quick release plate for Arca-Swiss, 1/4″-20 threaded holes, 1/4″-20 locating holes, 3/8″-16 threaded holes, 3/8″-16 locating holes for ARRI, cold shoe mount, NATO rails, QD interfaces, strap slots, and more for attaching monitors, microphones, tripods, follow focus systems, handles, and other accessories to enhance video content creation in various scenarios.

The cage secures the camera in place with a 1/4″-20 screw at the base and two locating blocks on the sides, incorporating built-in silicone pads to prevent scratches on the camera. The built-inquick release plate for Arca Swiss enables seamless mounting on tripods for Arca-type (ID 4353, 4060) and for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers, facilitating swift transitions between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups.

The ergonomic HawkLock quick release handle with silicone padding enhances ensures a comfortable and stable handheld shooting experience. The cable clamp for HDMI & USB-C securely fastens with a single thumbscrew, preventing signal interruptions and ensuring stable signal transmission.


I.Precautions:

1.Remove the side locating blocks on both sides of the cage before mounting.

2.Not compatible for DJI RS 4 Mini gimbal.

3.When used with Cage 5958 for Canon R6 Mark II is incompatible with the included cable clamp. For this configuration, please purchase cable clamp 2981B separately.

  • Quick Release Plate for Arca-Type: The bottom of the R6 Mark III cage features a built-in quick release plate for Arca-Swiss, which can be directly mounting to tripods for Arca-Type (ID 4353, 4060) and for DJI RS 2 / RSC 2 / RS 3 / RS 3 Pro / RS 4 / RS 4 Pro stabilizers, facilitating swift transitions between stabilizer, handheld, and tripod setups.
