Manual Focus Lens – Used in M-mode
Since manual lenses lack electronic contacts for lens recognition, exposure, ISO, and shutter speed must be set manually.
When lens attached, camera must be set M (manual) mode to make it works.

Manual lenses lack electronic contacts, so the camera cannot obtain aperture information, and the screen will display "F00".
The aperture value cannot be adjusted either; it can only be changed automatically by adjusting the focal length.

1. Set the camera to M (Manual) mode and enable the "Lens-Free Release Shutter" function.
2. Lock the lock/unlock ring on the lens, rotate the focus ring on the lens to focus, and take a sample photo.
3. Adjust the shutter speed to obtain good image quality (e.g., 1/250 sec, 1/200 sec, 1/150 sec).
4. The ISO value cannot be displayed (it will display "F00"). The ISO only changes automatically by adjusting the focal length, for example: 420mm/F8.3 → 500mm/F10 → 600mm/F12 → 700mm/F14 → 800mm/F16

Why does my camera display "Lens not installed" or "Unrecognized"?
This is a fully manual focus lens with no electronic contacts. After installation, the camera cannot detect the lens. Please switch the camera to M mode (manual focus mode) to operate it.
Why can't I press the shutter button after installing the lens?
Usually, switching the camera to M mode (manual focus mode) will solve this problem. For some cameras, you need to enable the "Lens-free shutter release" function in the camera menu for the lens to work properly.
Why are my photos out of focus and very blurry?
