Manual Focus Lens – Used in M-mode

Since manual lenses lack electronic contacts for lens recognition, exposure, ISO, and shutter speed must be set manually.

When lens attached, camera must be set M (manual) mode to make it works.

Manual lenses offer more flexibility and creativity for photography enthusiasts.

No aperture value displayed – F00

Manual lenses lack electronic contacts, so the camera cannot obtain aperture information, and the screen will display "F00".

The aperture value cannot be adjusted either; it can only be changed automatically by adjusting the focal length.

Andoer Manual Focus Telephoto Lens

Usage Steps and Important Notes

1. Set the camera to M (Manual) mode and enable the "Lens-Free Release Shutter" function.

2. Lock the lock/unlock ring on the lens, rotate the focus ring on the lens to focus, and take a sample photo.

3. Adjust the shutter speed to obtain good image quality (e.g., 1/250 sec, 1/200 sec, 1/150 sec).

4. The ISO value cannot be displayed (it will display "F00"). The ISO only changes automatically by adjusting the focal length, for example: 420mm/F8.3 → 500mm/F10 → 600mm/F12 → 700mm/F14 → 800mm/F16

  • Why does my camera display "Lens not installed" or "Unrecognized"?

This is a fully manual focus lens with no electronic contacts. After installation, the camera cannot detect the lens. Please switch the camera to M mode (manual focus mode) to operate it.

  • Why can't I press the shutter button after installing the lens?

Usually, switching the camera to M mode (manual focus mode) will solve this problem. For some cameras, you need to enable the "Lens-free shutter release" function in the camera menu for the lens to work properly.

  • Why are my photos out of focus and very blurry?

Please rotate the focus ring on the front of the lens until the subject is in sharp focus, and then use live view to focus for precise focus. It is recommended to use a tripod and remote control to keep the image stable and avoid blur.

  • Why doesn't the camera display the aperture value?

Because this is a fully manual telephoto lens, it does not communicate electronically with the camera body, and its aperture value changes with the focal length. Therefore, the camera body usually cannot display the aperture value.

  • Super Telephoto Lens: The 420-800mm manual zoom lens provides ultra-long focus length and is constructed with a sturdy all-metal body.

  • Reduced Chromatic Aberration: Utilizing ED technology to minimize chromatic aberration and lens flare, delivering clear images and beautiful bokeh. Aperture automatically adjusts based on focus length (f/8.3 at 420mm, f/16 at 800mm), compatible with 67mm filters.
  • Aluminum Alloy Material: The lens features a black aluminum alloy construction with a 69mm lens diameter, providing a maximum aperture of F8.3 and a minimum aperture of F16. It supports manual focus and is compatible with EF-S, EF cameras.
