Q1: Not switchable on/Not switchable off/Power consumption/Continuous power

A1: Check 1: In vehicles with steering wheel remote control, switching on/off is controlled by the CAN bus box.

Solution 1: Disconnect the small black connector on the power cable (see detailed wiring diagram in the appendix).

Check 2: In vehicles without steering wheel remote control, CAN bus box control is not required.

Solution 2: Connect the black connector on the power cable and remove the CAN bus box (see detailed wiring diagram in the appendix).

Q2: Steering wheel buttons do not work/Steering wheel control buttons do not respond

A2: Check whether the serial interface cable from the CAN bus box output is correctly connected to the corresponding interface of the main unit.

Q3: Dynaudio sound system malfunction: Incompatibility issue?

A3: With the head unit switched on: Locate the amplifier module under the driver's seat, unplug the marked connector (arrow position), wait patiently for 5-10 minutes, then plug the connector back in – sound will be restored.

Note: If your car has a factory-installed rearview camera (except for vehicles on the MQB platform) and you wish to retain it, the appropriate RGB box must also be installed (not included).
