Inspired by the famous Prague Astronomical Clock (Orloj), this architectural street scene model combines Gothic architecture with detailed astronomical dial construction. Architecture, astronomy and mechanical timekeeping are combined into an impressive display model – ideal as a decorative architectural display or collector’s item.
In addition to the detailed exterior facade, the model offers dynamic interaction through movement and light. An integrated motor system controls the synchronized rotation of multiple astronomical elements, while the built-in LED lighting specifically highlights architectural details. The interaction of outdoor lighting and warm interior light creates an authentic atmosphere – from the historical day picture to the nightly illuminated sight.
Inside, a three-tier structure provides clear architecture and exciting insights. Each level can be opened separately so that the mechanical transmission system can be observed within the construction. Hidden cables guide the power supply invisibly through the model and preserve the clean appearance of the Gothic facade.
Made from precise clamping blocks for stable construction and durable quality, the set includes about 2441 pieces and measures approx. 19 x 25.6 x 41.8 cm. Developed for builders aged 8 and up, this model combines architectural display, mechanical function representation and a detailed European street scene collectible in one construction project.
