Unlike traditional multi-slot enclosures, Echo II DV T5 Desktop uses a dedicated Thunderbolt 5 connection per PCIe slot, fully leveraging the independent Thunderbolt buses on the latest computers, including MacBook Pro (M4 Pro/M4 Max), Mac mini (M4 Pro), Mac Studio (M3 Ultra/M4 Max), and select Windows PCs. This enables two high-performance PCIe cards—such as DV I/O, ultra-fast NVMe storage, and 10GbE or 25GbE networking cards—to run at full speed with no compromise. Echo II DV T5 Desktop features two PCIe 4.0 x16 slots and supports virtually any Thunderbolt-compatible, single-width, non-GPU PCIe card, regardless of length or height. A built-in 400W universal power supply and dual 75W auxiliary PCIe power connectors support power-hungry cards including AJA KONA 5, Blackmagic DeckLink 8K Pro G2 (main board only), and Avid Pro Tools | HDX.
