  • How is this fan different to the first generation NF-A12x25?

The G2 version is the further improved successor and surpasses the original NF-A12x25’s performance, making it Noctua’s undisputed new flagship in the 120mm range.

  • How does the chromax.black version differ from the standard brown version?

Same performance, different colour: The chromax version is the all-black version of the fan, while performance and scope-of-delivery stay the same.

  • Can I use this fan on my watercooling radiator?

Yes, the NF-A12x25 G2 PWM chromax.black is a true all-rounder that yields superb results in all types of usage, whether it's case cooling, on heatsinks or on water cooling radiators.

  • How should I arrange the fans (PPA and PPB) when using more than two fans?

For an optimal placement, remember this simple rule: Arrange the fans so that PPA and PPB alternate by never placing two fans of the same type next to each other.

  • I need more than two fans, should I buy Sx2-PP sets or single fans?

If more than two fans that are running side by side, we recommend buying several Sx2-PP sets. If you need an uneven number of fans, combine the Sx2-PP set(s) with a single standard PWM fan that is sold separately.

  • Dedicated dual fan set with two NF-A12x25 G2 PWM 120x25mm fans that are slightly off-set in speed (+/- ~50rpm) in order to avoid undesired acoustic interaction phenomena
  • State-of-the-art engineering (Progressive Bend impeller with winglets and Centrifugal Turbulator, Flow Acceleration Channels, AAO frame) and construction (Sterrox LCP, ultra-tight tip clearance)
  • Ideal choice for push-pull applications as well as situations where two fans are operating side by side (240/360mm water cooling radiators, case intake or exhaust fans, etc.)
  • All-black chromax version with black anti-vibration mounts; 12cm anti-vibration gasket for tighter seal on radiators, fan screws, Low-Noise Adaptor (LNA), extension cable and splitter cable included
  • Trusted Noctua quality with premium-grade SSO2 bearing (MTTF > 150,000 h), safety certifications from UL and TÜV, protected against reverse polarity, overvoltage and overcurrent (short-circuits)

Product Description

aplus content imageSterrox liquid-crystal polymer compound

The NF-A12x25 G2’s impeller uses Noctua’s Sterrox LCP, offering high strength, low thermal expansion, and excellent damping to reduce resonance and vibration in advanced fan-blade designs.

” data-position=”triggerHorizontal” />Extensive cabling options

The 20cm primary cable reduces clutter, while a 30cm extension adds reach. Both are fully sleeved, and a 4-pin splitter lets you connect a second fan to the same PWM header for automatic control.
