Layer paints take a miniature from "Battle Ready" tabletop standard to a "Parade Ready" display finish. Brushed over your base coats, they pick out edges, raised detail and fine highlights, the difference between a model that looks merely painted and one that stands out in the cabinet.

Ideal for painters ready to level up their highlighting, the set pairs with any Base and Shade paints you already own, including our Battle Ready Set, which gives you the Base and Shade foundation to highlight over. The water-based acrylic formula works on plastic, resin and metal. Please note this is a Layer (highlight) collection rather than an all-in-one starter kit, and a brush is not included.
