On the stone ramp in front of the gate stands DHD, short for Dial Home Device. In the series, it is a desktop computer to choose from, which the ancients created as the equivalent of Stargates: ring-shaped symbols select an address, just like on the phone’s keyboard, while the device delivers the necessary energy to the gateway. Next to it, there is a MALP, a movable probe that is sent through the gate before use to check what is waiting on the other side. Complementing the scene is the obelisk of the ancients.

The set includes five minifigures: Mitchell, Carter, Jackson, Teal’c and Vala, which is the SG-1 team composition from later seasons. So you can immediately tell the scene, not just the background. There are two hidden functions that are not immediately visible in the product pictures: The ramp can be pulled out and the obelisk is unfolded and gives you an insight into the technology inside.

All details are printed, stickers are not included. This ensures a clean finish that does not protrude on the corners even after many years. With 675 clamp blocks and dimensions of 283 x 223 x 140 mm, the scene can be set up in the evening, and then finds space on any site, alone or next to other models from the Stargate universe.
