Welcome to Apex: a home for a queen, her growing workforce and absolutely nobody who pays rent. With its cave-style nesting area, clear viewing panels and raised outworld, it gives you a front-row seat to a tiny society that’s considerably more organised than most of us.

The Daily Commute
A front-mounted silicone tube connects the outworld to the nesting area, with two outworld entrances giving your ants different routes into their nest.

Moving-In Day Made Simple
Connect your colony’s test tube directly to the side port and let your ants investigate their new home at their own pace. Not using the test tube? The included block connector seals the port neatly.

Room for Ambitious Neighbours
Two side expansion ports allow you to connect additional compatible habitats. Because apparently one nest is only the beginning of the property-development plan.

Controlled Hydration
The white hydration plug in the centre of the nesting area lets you add moisture directly to the nest, helping you manage humidity for your colony.

Twist-to-Close Outworld Lid
The outworld uses a secure twist-to-close lid, giving you easy access for feeding and maintenance before locking everything back into place.

Designed for Observation
Clear viewing panels provide an excellent view of your colony as they explore, forage, build and expand. You provide the care. They provide the endlessly fascinating little drama.

• CONNECTED LIVING, ANT STYLE – A cave-style nest and raised outworld, connected by a front silicone tube, with two outworld entrances/exits into the nesting area. A short commute for a very busy workforce.
• MOVING DAY, WITHOUT THE VAN – A side test tube connection lets your colony explore its new home at its own pace. An included block connector takes its place when the test tube isn’t being used.
• SMALL COLONY, BIG AMBITIONS – Two side expansion ports let you connect additional compatible habitats as your colony grows. Even ants eventually want an extension.
• TWIST, CLOSE, JOB DONE – The twist-to-close outworld lid provides access for feeding and maintenance, then closes with a twist. Room service is your department.
• MOISTURE WHERE IT MATTERS – A central white hydration plug lets you add moisture to the nesting area to suit your colony’s needs. A little help from you; all the interior organising is up to them.
