Brifield BR5-X Body Camera

The BR5-X is one of our main body cameras designed for individuals working within the security industry. This unit is rubber-coated with an integrated LED screen on top rather than a LCD display on the back for added “scuffle-protection”. Rather than having a large viewing screen, this unit condenses the LCD screen down to allow for viewing the different settings and options, but without the need to playback and view videos.

The added benefit of Enhanced Image Stability (EIS) also means your recordings will be smooth with reduced camera shaking, ideal for those using the camera on the move.

This makes this unit one of the most preferred options from security industry professionals and their employers, as it preserves both battery life and video footage as a matter of security, only being able to be viewed back by an authorised user on a PC or MAC.

*Please note – the Camera Manager Software can only be accessed on a PC, not a MAC

Designed for those working in the security industry, the BR5-X boasts a large 'One-Touch' record button on the front, for easy and fast access so it's on and recording when you need it.

Top Viewing Easy-Read LCD Display

Crisp clear top view LCD display allows the user to view settings, time and recording durations. Less chance of being damaged than a camera with a large rear display.

In-Built Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery

In-built rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery can give up to 11 hours or more of operating time (when set to lowest settings). The unit is charged through the dock base supplied.

High Security – Password Protected File Access

The BR5-X Brifield Body Camera has password protection and AES-256, which can be set by an administrator to ensure important evidence files can not be accessed or tampered with externally.

GPS & WIFI

The GPS option allows the user to view the location of where videos were captured. Perfect for when using as evidence.

The in-built Wi-Fi module means the unit can connect to 3rd-party apps offering a Wi-Fi camera input.

Infrared Night Vision

Manual or Automatic Infrared night vision option allows for viewing in dark conditions with clear images up to 10m away.

IP66 Rating

All Brifield body cameras are rated IP66 meaning they can easily hold their own through heavy rain and water spray.

Versatile Clip Attachments

Two clothing clips come as standard in the box. A straight crocodile-clip style, and a curved clip for mounting on your shoulder or lapel. All Brifield attachments are fully rotatable.

Pre and Post Recording Features – when activated stores footage 30 seconds in a buffer prior to pressing the record button and after stopping the recording. Enhanced Image Stabilty – Reduces shake / jitter which occurs on many other body cameras improving the playback video quality.
  • The BR5-X also includes the option to turn on AES-256 Encryption on the camera for an extra layer of security.
