Golden Swallow Returning Wooden Boomerang – Handcrafted, Comes Back Suitable for right- and left-handers
Why Throwers Choose the Golden Swallow
Strong, Smooth Baltic Birch
Crafted from premium Baltic birch plywood for a lightweight feel, smooth edges, and reliable performance throw after throw.
Made for Either Hand
A universal design for right- and left-handed throwers. Clear instructions help you use the correct throwing technique.
Ready to Throw
No tuning or setup needed. Each boomerang is flight-tested, with step-by-step throwing instructions printed on the packaging.
A Design That Stands Out
A bold woven-inspired pattern gives every throw a distinctive look—on the field, at the beach, or as a unique gift.
How to Throw a Returning Boomerang
Step 1 — Grip It Right
Hold one wing tip with a firm pinch grip. Keep the decorated side facing you and the boomerang almost vertical.
Step 2 — Face the Wind
Stand about 45° to the wind. Aim at eye level. Tilt slightly right for right-handers, left for left-handers. Never throw flat like a flying disc.
Step 3 — Snap & Release
Throw overhand with a smooth motion and a sharp wrist snap. Spin matters more than force for a clean return.
Step 4 — Catch Safely
Let it slow down, then use a sandwich catch—clap the boomerang flat between both hands below shoulder height.
Does it really come back?
Yes. Every Golden Swallow is flight-tested before shipping. With the correct technique, it flies a 15–20 m (50–65 ft) circle and returns. Allow time to practise the grip, angle and wrist snap.
Why is it not coming back for me?
Common causes are a flat throw, the wrong tilt, too much wind or a weak wrist snap. Keep it near vertical: spin matters more than force. Follow the steps above and the instructions printed on the packaging.
How much space do I need, and what weather is best?
Use an open field with about 35 m (115 ft) clear in every direction. A football field is ideal. Keep far from people, animals, trees, buildings and roads. Throw in calm air or a light breeze, never in strong gusts.
Do I need to tune it? How do I care for it?
No tuning or assembly is needed. Each boomerang is shaped, balanced and flight-tested by hand. Use it over soft grass. Avoid concrete, stones and water; wipe dirt off with a slightly damp cloth and store it dry.
Can teenagers and left-handed throwers use it?
For ages 14 and above; teenagers need adult supervision. This is sports equipment, not a toy. The universal design suits either hand: right-handers tilt slightly right, left-handers slightly left. Read the included instructions before use.
