MOONLAND Sensory Soft Squeeze Seat, Calming Compression

MOONLAND Sensory Soft Squeeze Seat

MOONLAND Sensory Soft Squeeze Seat, Calming Compression Chair for Kids Hugging Rocking Chair for Autism & ADHD with Removable Machine-Washable Cover for Calm Corners, Classrooms & Sensory Rooms

A different way to sit, squeeze and move
MOONLAND Sensory Soft Squeeze Seat gives children a low, cushioned place to use in different ways throughout the day. The curved sides create a close, hug-like feel around the torso, while the rounded base allows gentle back-and-forth rocking. Children can straddle the centre, sit sideways between the raised sides or lean against the chair with a book.

Made for flexible everyday routines
Use it after school, during reading or homework, for tabletop activities, or whenever a child prefers an alternative to a standard chair. Its floor-level design works well in bedrooms, playrooms, SEN spaces, classrooms and sensory rooms without requiring a fixed setup.

One-piece resilient foam construction
The sculpted core is made from one solid piece of foam with a density of 35 kg/m³. It is soft enough to flex during squeezing while remaining supportive for rocking, with resilient, shape-retaining cushioning designed for repeated sitting and movement.

Soft cover, simple care
The velvet outer cover adds a soft, home-friendly finish and can be removed with the zip for cleaning. Machine wash at low temperature, keep the foam core dry and allow the cover to dry fully before refitting.

Good to know
Sensory preferences differ from child to child. Use the chair on a clear indoor floor with appropriate supervision. The product is designed as flexible sensory seating and is not intended as medical treatment.

  • – : When a sensory-seeking child still wants to move, the curved sides give a snug, hug-like squeeze while gentle rocking adds movement input—creating a smoother transition into reading, play or dinner
  • : Straddle the centre like a rocking horse for back-and-forth motion, sit sideways for closer pressure, or lean into the shape with a book. Different positions let children choose a more active or tucked-in way to sit
  • , : Through repeated sitting and wiggling, the one-piece foam core flexes with the body and springs back into shape. Resilient cushioning helps the sculpted form stay ready for regular use
  • : When a standard chair feels too still, this low floor seat offers active sitting through small shifts during homework, drawing, listening or tabletop play—at home, in class or in an SEN space
  • – : After snacks or floor play, unzip the removable velvet cover for low-temperature machine washing. Keep the foam core dry, let the cover dry fully, then refit it ready for the next round of use
  • , : The seat arrives vacuum-compressed for delivery. Open it on an indoor floor and allow up to 24 hours for the foam to regain its shape before first use. Expanded size: approx. 76.2 × 20.3 × 73.7 cm (L × W × H)
