Inspired by Northern Legends

Inspired by northern legends, this chess collection brings together a royal court, mysterious guardians and shield-bearing warriors. Crowned rulers lead the ranks, hooded bishops carry patterned discs, and feathered bird figures take the place of traditional horse-shaped knights.

The design connects all six roles through interlaced base patterns, flowing lines and symbolic reliefs. Feather details echo the layered clothing of the royal figures, while the towers and round shields give the collection a shared sense of strength and watchfulness.

A warm beige, single-colour PLA finish brings the forms together, allowing facial expressions, robes and decorative details to stand out through light and shadow. The result is a northern fantasy expressed through sixteen pieces—made to be explored as individual characters and enjoyed together as one side of a chess game.

A crowned, bearded ruler rests both hands on a downward-pointing sword. His layered mantle and interlaced robes express authority through a composed, grounded pose.
