This kenable 3U rackmount fan tray provides professional thermal management for high-density server cabinets, network equipment racks, and audio-visual installations. Engineered to mount vertically within standard 19-inch rack enclosures, it delivers targeted cooling across active switches, routers, servers, and power distribution units.

The cooling assembly features three 120mm AC-powered axial fans arranged to maximise vertical airflow through confined cabinet spaces. Each fan incorporates precision dual ball bearing mechanisms that maintain consistent performance during continuous operation. This bearing technology reduces mechanical friction, extends operational lifespan, and operates more quietly than standard sleeve bearing alternatives.

Mounting is straightforward using the standard 19-inch rack format, occupying 3U of vertical space. The unit fixes directly to cabinet uprights using standard cage nuts or rack screws (mounting hardware sold separately). This vertical orientation accelerates natural convection by drawing cool air from cabinet base level and exhausting heated air towards the top vents.

Power connectivity is handled through an integrated IEC C13 socket positioned on the rear panel. A 1.8m (6ft) C13 to C14 power cable is supplied, featuring 1.5mm² conductors suitable for the fan array’s power requirements. This connects directly into rackmount power distribution units, UPS systems, or mains-powered C14 outlets commonly found in data centre infrastructure.

The steel chassis features black powder-coated finish that resists corrosion whilst maintaining a professional aesthetic alongside other rack-mounted equipment. Perforation patterns across the housing allow unrestricted airflow whilst protecting internal components from accidental contact.
