CrystaLux Multifunctional Chlorine Tablets are large 200g slow dissolving tablets for routine swimming pool water treatment, supplied in a 5kg tub. Each 3 inch tablet is a 4 in 1 multifunction chlorine tablet that combines a stabilised chlorine sanitiser, an algaecide, a clarifier and slow release so one product handles the weekly dose instead of three separate chemicals. The stabiliser protects the free chlorine from being burned off by UV, which means outdoor pools hold a steadier residual through the summer and you top up less often. The slow release format is built for hands off maintenance. Load the tablets into a floating dispenser, a skimmer basket or an automatic chemical feeder and each tablet releases chlorine gradually over several days rather than all at once, keeping the water sanitised between visits. As a guide, use one 200g tablet per 25,000 to 30,000 litres of pool water and replace as the tablet dissolves, adjusting to suit bather load, water temperature and rainfall. Always confirm dosing against the product label and test the water regularly, aiming for a free chlorine level of 1 to 3 ppm and a pH of 7.2 to 7.6. Suitable for in ground and above ground swimming pools, including liner, tiled and fibreglass pools.
