• What testing has been carried out on Motion 3?

We rigorously test all our car safety products at European independent testing laboratories to ensure it is safe and secure on every journey. Motion 3 is the third generation of Motion 360, which was named best car seat in ADAC’s 2022 Autumn Test.

• Can Motion 3 detach from the base and be used on my stroller?

Motion 3 is a fixed ISOFIX car seat, so the base cannot be removed. Our Glide Plus 360 infant carrier does, however, offer this option and is compatible with a range of Silver Cross prams and strollers.

• Is Motion 3 easy to clean?

The covers of all our seats can be machine washed at 30°C with no detergents, just remember to remove any foams from the inserts prior to washing.

• Is the Ultimate Comfort Kit included?

Every Motion 3 is complete with the Ultimate Comfort Kit, featuring a breathable summer liner, handy sunshade, and an extra seatbelt pad for high-back booster mode – everything you need for year-round comfort.

• When should I remove the inserts in my Motion 3 car seat?

The full insert must be used between 40-60cm, and once they’re above 61cm, you can begin removing the insert gradually – first head, side, and then main body – while still using it as a rear-facing wedge up to 105cm for added comfort and support.

• THE ONLY CAR SEAT YOU NEED – FROM BIRTH TO 12 YEARS – Motion 3 is the all-stage car seat designed to grow with your child from birth up to approximately 12 years (40–145cm). With a newly upgraded sleeker design, premium layered fabrics and adaptable inserts, it keeps your little passenger comfortable and secure throughout every stage of childhood.
• EXTENDED REAR-FACING TO 18.5KG FOR MAXIMUM SAFETY – Designed to support safer travel for longer, Motion 3 allows extended rear-facing up to 18.5kg. This helps keep your child better protected during the most important early years while ensuring a secure and supportive seating position on every journey.
• ALWAYS ACTIVE SIDE PROTECTION SYSTEM – Motion 3 All Size 360 Car Seat features an Always Active Side Protection System that delivers constant head-to-hip protection.
• EASYFIT INTEGRATED 360° ISOFIX – The EasyFit integrated 360° ISOFIX base is simple to install and provides the most secure fit.
• ALL-INCLUSIVE ACCESSORIES – Motion 3 includes an Ultimate Comfort Kit with Hydro Protect liner, summer comfort liner, sunshade and seatbelt pad to support year-round comfort. The complete care package also includes a vehicle compatibility check, recycling service and crash replacement for added peace of mind.
