Feeder Fresh by Jacobi Jayne is a new design of bird feeder built around fresh food and clean feeding. Most feeders are designed to hold as much as possible. Feeder Fresh keeps rain out, holds just enough food to be eaten while it is fresh, spaces birds out as they feed and comes apart in seconds for cleaning. It takes seed, seed mixes, sunflower hearts, suet pellets and dried mealworms, so you can use it all year round. Eight ways it is better for your birds: a large rain hood keeps moisture off the food; the small 1 litre capacity means food is eaten before it goes stale; a vented lid stops humidity building up; a draining base stops water sitting in the food; a horizontal feeding level lets birds feed side by side; small perches stop birds crowding; dropped food falls to the ground, not back into the port; and birds cannot stand in or foul the food. Clean and move your feeder every week: twist it apart, wash in hot soapy water, refill and hang it somewhere quiet near cover, away from cats.
