The Fairmont in Barbados is situated on one of the best beaches in Barbados, in my opinion. It has been recently renovated with modern rooms, and it is also well situated on the west coast for getting out and about.

You can read my review here.  It usually is extremely expensive at around GBP600 a night upwards. However, for the low season, they have a great deal with TravelZoo for £999 (~GBP810) per room for 3 nights in a Luxury Oceanfront Room, which also includes daily breakfast, fast-track airport service on arrival and £100 food-and-beverage credit.

The offer runs for stays from 31 March to 30 Sept 2023. You have to buy a voucher and then call or email to find availability. If you can’t get the availability you want, then you can get a full refund within 14 days of purchase, so I’d advise booking your room as soon as you buy the voucher.

Hilton 100% “mystery” bonus

Hilton has launched a new bonus for buying points.

Usually, I don’t recommend buying points except for very expensive hotels. Still, given the ridiculously high hotel prices in many places, such as the US, it is definitely worth doing your sums to see if it makes sense. I checked my account and was offered a 100% bonus as were other people I checked with.
