Ugreen’s new docking station can extend M1 Mac displays
New docking station from Ugreen
Ugreen has released a 9-in-1 docking station that can help extend an M1 MacBook’s capability with external displays. It offers customers 100W fast charging, nine different connections to fulfill most needs, quick file transmission, and the option to expand to up to two additional displays. With nine ports, it can help optimize and clear a workspace of multiple cables.
It has two HDMI 4K ports, two DisplayPort 4K, one Power Delivery 3.0 100W, two USB-A 3.2 ports at up to 10Gbps speeds, one USB-C 3.2 at up to 10Gbps, and one port for gigabit ethernet. It can readily fit into an existing setup because it is compatible with many systems and devices. Besides being excellent for viewing and extending the screen, the USB-A and USB-C connectors enable quick file transfers.
There won’t be any more waiting for documents because the station allows data transfers up to 10Gbps. While an M1 MacBook can only handle one display, the dock’s DisplayLink technology can extend to two 4K monitors at 60Hz. Depending on preferences, users can use the extended or mirror modes for the display.
This allows for three options: both additional monitors can be in extend mode, both in mirror mode, or one of each.
The docking station offers excellent cooling performance and safety measures to guarantee stability.
It won’t overheat while in use thanks to a cooling system that includes dual vents, cooling silica gel, a cooling aluminum casing, and elevating pads.
